I am a warm, relational counsellor who offers a safe, compassionate space to explore whatever challenges you’re facing, whether it’s stress, anxiety, relationship issues, or something more personal. If you’re living with disordered eating or navigating life as a neurodivergent person, you may feel burdened by shame, frustration, or the misunderstanding of others. You don’t have to face these feelings alone—I’m here to walk alongside you.
My approach is kind, inclusive, and tailored to your unique needs and experiences. For clients with disordered eating, we can gently explore the emotions, habits, or triggers that may be contributing to these patterns, working together to build self-compassion and acceptance. For neurodivergent clients, we’ll focus on understanding your sensory needs, processing styles, and how the world impacts you, creating strategies that empower and support you.
Clients often tell me how much they value having a counsellor who is genuinely kind and relational—a space where they feel safe to be themselves, without masks or judgment. Whether you need help managing overwhelming thoughts, developing practical coping tools, or simply someone who truly understands, therapy with me is a place to feel supported, seen, and valued. Together, we can create the changes you’re looking for in your life.
As a counsellor, I believe in showing up as my authentic self. I don’t hide behind a professional façade—I bring me into our sessions. I’m personable, relatable, and human first, therapist second. This genuine approach allows me to build trust and understanding with my clients, creating a safe and supportive space for growth.
I won’t claim to have all the answers or tell you what to do. You are the expert on your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you as you uncover your truth and reconnect with your authentic self. Together, we’ll work as a team, free from judgment, with my full commitment to supporting you every step of the way.
Overcoming Limiting Beliefs
Many of us carry the weight of societal expectations, past experiences, or self-imposed pressures that can crush our confidence or steal our sense of self. My aim is to help you challenge these limiting beliefs and move beyond the “shoulds” that have been placed upon you. You don’t need to conform to someone else’s idea of how you should live, feel, or look. Instead, we’ll focus on what feels right for you.
If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by the pressure to prove your worth, to keep pushing despite the exhaustion, or to meet unrealistic ideals about appearance and success, I understand. It’s time to step off that relentless treadmill and focus on what truly matters to you.
Specialized Support
I am a neuro-inclusive therapist, working with clients who are neurodivergent, including those with ADHD and autism. I understand the unique challenges neurodivergent individuals face and tailor my approach to create a space that feels safe and supportive.
I also specialize in helping individuals navigate binge eating and emotional eating disorders. These struggles often come with layers of shame and misunderstanding, but together we can untangle these feelings and foster a healthier, more compassionate relationship with yourself and your body.
My Lived Experience
A little about me: I have lived experience of Fibromyalgia, Cluster headaches, Bowel disease, Disordered eating, Skin conditions, anxiety, and periods of low mental health. My journey has also included coming to terms with a childhood and past relationships that were far from typical. These experiences have shaped who I am and deepened my ability to empathize with my clients.
I know how life’s challenges can disrupt your daily routine, overwhelm you when you least expect it, and leave you grappling with guilt, shame, or anger. However, I also believe these experiences can be the foundation for growth. Together, we’ll explore your past and make sense of it, identifying where and how you want to make changes.
Empowering You
My goal is to help you become your best self—not the self others expect you to be, but the person you truly are. I want to help you let go of the need to compete, conform, or say “yes” when your heart says “no.”
Together, we’ll work toward acceptance, empowerment, and a life where you feel confident and unapologetically you. Let’s build a future where you embrace your unique strengths, set boundaries that serve you, and live in a way that feels authentic and fulfilling.
